no... nO... NO!!!

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 17, 2008, 10:21 PM
This is addressed to those who have emailed me (and those who may yet) concerning art commissions.

At this moment in time, I am not in the position to take any requests. However, if that time ever does arrive - I'll be the first to let you know.

With that said, let me set the ground rules about art commissions, and again, I'm addressing those individuals (past, present and future) who've already emailed me.

I don't do porn art, so stop asking.

I don't do S&M art, so stop asking.

I don't do incest or rape art, so stop asking.

I don't do gay or lesbian themed art, so stop asking.

I don't do Herm themed art, so stop asking.

I don't do (insert degenerate fetish here) art, so stop asking.

and finally...

I don't do cub art, SO PLEASE STOP ASKING, and seek professional medical help.

Alright? Now to quote the great Stan Lee...

'Nuff said.

Mr. Flahive, I must confess to being surprised that you would remember me.
I've been active, on and off, at the fringes of Furry publishing, mostly with Edd Vick and MU. I've done some inking for Steve Gallacci and the people at Shanda Graphics. Edd published a graphic novel of mine called "Frontiers."
You can see the kind of stuff I do now right here at dA. So that's the story thus far. There were a few more details that I omitted for lack of space. :)

Mr. Kleinbergen,

As a matter of fact I DO remember meeting you (a fellow ALBEDO alumnus).

Thanx for stopping by, and don't be a stranger.

Thank you for visiting. We met once long ago at SanDiego Con where I bought one of your calendars. You remember me? Just kidding. I just one of hundreds of faceless Furry fans who trooped past your table and told you how great you were. (I'm in earnest here; you do great stuff.)

Oh my gosh, I can't believe you're on DA. Don't take this the wrong way, but I SO fanboyed over your work when I first got into anthro comics. I still own issues 1 and 2 of Space Wolf and have always died to read more.

Jim and I still talk on a fairly regular basis. ^.^ He's a good guy, gave me some pretty good comickering tips too...
At the moment, not much in the way of true gatherings, but there's a fairly regular group of 5-6 that hang out, watch movies and occasionally draw. I've been trying to rally up a regular sketchmeet, but good luck getting anyone motivated in this state. :P

DO I KNOW GROAT?!

Jimmy (or moonbeam, as I like to call him) and I go waaaaay back. Back when drawing funny animals was fun, and not burdened with the most of the freakish element it has now.

I was also an unofficial member of the Tucson Mob, along with the late, great Michael McMurry.

Do you know if there are any clubs, or gatherings for AZ anthro arttists?
*tengukun:icontengukun: Nov 5, 2006, 8:21:34 PM
Oh cool, you're in Mesa? Eyeing your style, you ever know a fellow by the name of Jim Groat? We AZ cartoonists are few and far between and apparently difficult to coax out of our hovels (I mean... it's blazing HOT out there and there's traffic and stuff...).
